• Payment-related transaction information, such as payment status and payment references from our payment processor
• Content you submit, such as forum posts, reviews and messages
• Technical information, such as browser type, device information and basic usage and error logs needed to operate and secure the Website

Payment card details are entered with and processed by our payment processor, Stripe. The Knobby Shop does not receive or store full payment card numbers.

• Schedule, perform and follow up on mobile service appointments, including travel-fee calculations
• Keep service and motorcycle records to support future service
• Send transactional messages, such as order confirmations and booking updates

3. QuickBooks Online / Intuit Integration

The Knobby Shop may connect the Website to QuickBooks Online, an accounting service provided by Intuit Inc. Only authorized Knobby Shop administrators can connect this integration. When connected, the Website may access accounting information needed to provide the integration. Depending on the features authorized, this can include:

• Company information
• Customers
• Products, services and items
• Accounts
• Payment methods
• Tax-related configuration
• Sales and accounting transaction information

This information is used to support accounting functions such as preparing transactions, mapping Website records to accounting records, reconciliation and, only when those features are separately authorized, synchronization. Being able to read information from QuickBooks does not mean information is written to QuickBooks. Automatic synchronization is not currently enabled. Connection credentials are stored server-side and are never shown in the browser.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising. We share information only as needed to run the Website and our business, including with:

• Stripe, for payment processing
• Intuit / QuickBooks Online, for authorized accounting integration
• Email delivery providers, for transactional messages and newsletters you request
• Mapping and location services, when needed to calculate mobile service travel
• Website hosting, database and cloud infrastructure providers
• Parts and tire suppliers or carriers, when needed to fulfill an order
• Authorities or others when required by law or to protect rights and safety

These providers handle information under their own privacy policies and terms. The Knobby Shop does not control their privacy practices.

5. Public Content

Forum posts, reviews and similar content you choose to publish may be visible to other visitors along with the display name you choose.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections, access controls that limit administrative features to authorized staff, and server-side storage of integration credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We keep order, service, accounting and business records for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including tax, accounting, warranty and legal requirements. Other information is kept only as long as it is useful for providing our services or until you ask us to delete it, where deletion is permitted.

8. Your Choices and Requests

You can update certain account details from your account page and unsubscribe from newsletters using the link in any newsletter email. You may also contact us to ask about, correct or request deletion of personal information we hold about you. We may need to verify your identity and may keep some records where required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

9. Children's Privacy

The Website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
